Looking for something to read today that’s just a little bit different from the rest of the pack? BURIED MEMORIES will fit the bill nicely I think. It’s the story of Ben who, wanting to stop smoking goes to see a psychiatrist who deals in hypnotic suggestion. Well, it seems the suggestion brings out some buried memories of a girl named Becca. Problem is try as he might, Ben can’t remember a girl from his past named Becca. His father is in the hospital dying and doesn’t recall a Becca either. Ben’s dreams become obsessed with her.
Kelli Owen leads the reader down the story path dropping suggestions and together you and Ben will attempt to break the memory barrier and release his past to him. And when it finally does, don’t say you weren’t warned! I love how twisted this novella was! And that last line? No peeking…it is awesome!
